Introduction to "Re-Use! Everything! Now!"
I have an obsession: I can't throw things away. I break my heart daily as I get an item -a plastic straw, a wooden twizzle stick, a gum wrapper- and throw it away.
Something you have to throw away (How to re-use that slightly-soiled condom...) But face it, we live in a single-use society, and it is a gluttony on par with single-digit gas mileage on the latest SUVs. We have to change.
I'm starting this site to hopefully chronical some of my better, more interesting uses for items that otherwise would go in the garbage. Also, I hope to link to sites on creative garbage art and other ways to reduce garbage. Then again, there's always going to the heart of the source, so I'll blog about cutting down on comsumption as well.
How's that for starters?
I'll also conceived this blog as part of a trifeta, along with "Reusable Chopsticks Now!" and "S.U.S.: Stop Using Styrofoam", as guerrilla internet campaigns to, you guessed it, get restaurants to switch to reusable chopsticks instead of single-use chopsticks, and stop using styrofoam all together.
Enjoy...
